Smart Compute’s Researcher software is a distributed supercomputer which runs behind the scenes on using otherwise unused computing time. We currently have over 100,000 other computers running at any one time to form the world’s largest distributed supercomputer. In June 2013, we had 370,000 different people helping us push to new boundaries of computing power.
What is the computing power used for?
We currently have a mixture of research and commercial projects with our computing network. It is important to know that we are not a charity, but we do use a proportion of our computing power for charitable work with Universities and research centers all around the world.
